Terms of Service

WavArtist (“WavArtist”, “we”, “us”) is currently operated by an individual, not a registered company. Nothing in these terms should be read as a representation that WavArtist is incorporated; references to “WavArtist” mean the individual operating the service under that trading name.

WavArtist gives independent artists a website of their own at a subdomain like yourname.wavartist.com, plus a dashboard to:

• Publish tracks, EPs and albums as free streams or paid releases, including pre-booking before release day.
• List merch with prices and stock.
• Announce tour dates and take booking enquiries.
• Manage a listener account system so fans can log in once and keep a library across artist pages.

Access to the dashboard and your artist site requires an active Artist Plan subscription.

There are two kinds of accounts: artist accounts, which publish content and require a subscription, and listener accounts, which are free and used to buy or stream what artists publish.

You must provide accurate information when you sign up and keep your login credentials confidential. You’re responsible for activity that happens under your account. Tell us right away at wavartistz@gmail.com if you think your account has been compromised.

You must be legally able to enter into a contract in your country to create an account.

The Artist Plan is billed monthly at $2.99 or yearly at $24.99, at your choice. Subscription payments are processed by Paddle.com Market Limited, our payment processor and reseller of record — Paddle handles your card details, receipts, and applicable sales tax/VAT for this charge. WavArtist never sees or stores your full card number.

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel. You can cancel anytime from your dashboard; cancelling stops future renewals but doesn’t refund the current period, except as described in our Refund Policy.

If a renewal payment fails, we may suspend your artist site and dashboard access until it’s resolved.

Sales of releases, merch, tickets and bookings happen directly between an artist and a fan. Artists upload their own payment QR code or details (for example a bank or wallet QR); a fan pays the artist directly and uploads a receipt, and the artist reviews and approves the order from their dashboard.

WavArtist is not a party to these transactions, does not process, hold, or guarantee this money, and takes no commission on it. We aren’t responsible for the accuracy of an artist’s listings, order fulfilment, refunds between an artist and a fan, or disputes arising from them — those are between the artist and the fan. You keep ownership of everything you upload — audio, artwork, merch photos, tour info and anything else. By publishing it through WavArtist you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide licence to host, store, and display it on your artist site and dashboard so the service can work.

You’re responsible for having the rights to what you upload. Don’t publish content you don’t own or aren’t licensed to distribute, or content that’s illegal, infringing, defamatory, or otherwise violates someone else’s rights. If you believe content on WavArtist infringes your rights, email wavartistz@gmail.com with details and we’ll look into it.

Don’t use WavArtist to:

• Upload malware, scrape the service, or attempt to bypass its security.
• Impersonate another artist or person, or misrepresent your affiliation with anyone.
• Collect payment for something you don’t intend to deliver.
• Break the law that applies to you or to the fans you’re selling to.

We can suspend or remove content or accounts that break these rules.

The WavArtist name, logo, dashboard design, and underlying software belong to us. These terms don’t grant you any rights to them beyond what’s needed to use the service.

You can stop using WavArtist and cancel your subscription at any time from your dashboard. We can suspend or terminate an account that breaches these terms, that we reasonably believe is fraudulent, or where payment has failed and stayed unresolved. Where practical we’ll tell you why.

WavArtist is provided “as is”. We don’t guarantee the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will meet every expectation. We don’t vet or endorse artists, their releases, merch, tickets or bookings listed on the platform.

To the extent permitted by law, WavArtist isn’t liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, or from a transaction between an artist and a fan. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the subscription fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.

These terms are governed by the laws of Nepal, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

We may update these terms as WavArtist changes. If we make a material change we’ll update the “Last updated” date above and, where practical, let active artists know. Continuing to use WavArtist after a change means you accept the update.
