This policy explains what information WavArtist collects from artists and listeners, why, and how it’s handled.
Account information — for artists: full name, stage name, email, phone number, country, password, and the content you publish (releases, artwork, merch listings, tour dates). For listeners: name, email, and password.
Order information — when a fan buys from an artist, we store the order details and any receipt or proof-of-payment the fan uploads, so the artist can review and approve it.
Usage information — pages visited, device and browser type, and similar diagnostic data, collected automatically to keep the service working and to understand how it’s used.
Your Artist Plan subscription is billed through Paddle, our payment processor. Paddle collects and stores your card or payment details directly — WavArtist never receives or stores your full card number. See Paddle’s own privacy policy for how it handles that data.
Purchases a fan makes from an artist (releases, merch, tickets) are paid directly to that artist’s own payment QR or bank/wallet details, outside of WavArtist entirely. We don’t process, see, or store any card or bank information for those payments — we only store the order record and any receipt image the fan chooses to upload as proof of payment.
We keep account and order data for as long as your account is active, and for a reasonable period after closure to meet legal, accounting, or dispute-resolution needs. You can ask us to delete your account and associated personal data at any time — see “Your rights” below.
We use reasonable technical measures (encrypted connections, access controls) to protect the information we hold. No online service can guarantee perfect security, so please also use a strong, unique password.
You can review and update most of your account information from your dashboard or profile page at any time. To request a copy of your data, a correction, or deletion of your account, email wavartistz@gmail.com — we’ll respond within a reasonable time.
Deleting an artist account takes your artist site offline and removes your published content; deleting it doesn’t affect orders an artist already fulfilled with fans, which we may need to keep a record of.
WavArtist isn’t directed at children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has created an account, email us and we’ll remove it.
WavArtist is used by artists and listeners in multiple countries, and our infrastructure and payment processor may store or process data outside your own country. Where that happens, we rely on our providers’ own safeguards for cross-border transfers.
If we make a material change to this policy we’ll update the “Last updated” date above and, where practical, notify active users. Continuing to use WavArtist after a change means you accept the update.
